Data webinar - Learn more about Census Geospatial data

Who: Anyone developing applications that will access demographic and/or economic data as well as anyone developing applications that will have a mapping component.

What: Geography provides a critical entry point to statistical data. All demographic and economic data are tabulated and presented for a variety of geographic areas. Michael Ratcliffe, Assistant Division Chief for Geocartographic Products and Criteria, in the Geography Division, Census Bureau, will provide an overview of census geography, with a particular focus on geographic area commonalities and differences between demographic and economic datasets, as well as geospatial data for use in presenting statistical data in mapping applications.
