Timeline for Challenge Winner Announcement
We have had a couple of questions on the Discussions tab asking about when winners would be notified. I appreciate the frustration and we feel it too. Secretary Bryson's medical leave and subsequent resignation have thrown a wrench in the works - logistically and legally. We are working through those issues on our end, but it is hampered by the Acting Secretary being abroad in Turkey this week.
With next week's 4th of July holiday, many folks will be on vacation. Therefore, our winners will be announced during the week of July 16th.

Imagination at Work! Unleash Your Creativity with Our Census API!
The Census Bureau is giving a set of users access to a beta version of an application programming interface (API) that would allow programmers to create customized apps using Census Bureau data. We would like to invite you to be part of the beta test. At present the site allows you to develop apps using the 2010 Census Summary File 1 and the American Community Survey (five-year data).
