App Availability

In the case of an iOS app, does the app need to available on the App Store by the submission deadline? I'm concerned about getting Apple's approval of the app in time for the submission date. Can a beta distribution service (like http://testflightapp.com) be used to provide the judges with a copy while it sit in Apple's review queue?

    Yes, that is acceptable. As along as the judges can access the app, it doesn't need to be in the App Store.
